About

How My Passion Began

Welcome to my world of contemporary art. I’m Boe Beryl, a visual artist dedicated to creating meaningful connections through minimalist portraits and abstract expressions that celebrate cultural identity and human experience.

Art chose me long before I chose art. Growing up as a person of color in a world that didn’t always see my perspective reflected in galleries and museums, I knew from an early age that representation mattered. My journey hasn’t been traditional – I’ve walked the path of a working artist, balancing blue-collar jobs with my passion for creating.

Currently juggling work and school while building my artistic career, I understand the struggle of pursuing dreams while managing practical responsibilities. This duality isn’t a limitation; it’s my superpower. My experiences in the working world have shaped my artistic vision, teaching me discipline, authenticity, and the value of hard work – qualities that flow directly into every piece I create.
